New experiment: I would like to start the week, every week, by announcing my goal and then checking on Friday if I accomplished it or not.
My goal for this week is to improve our project accounting system: I have implemented the synchronization between our general accounting tool (based on Reviso) and AirTable. I will ask our Admin this week to classify the expenses as fixed or project specific. Based on this, we will know our monthly fixed expenses.
I will also ask our new Account Manager to start reflecting on evaluating the profitability of projects.
We used to use a different approach for this, but it did not work because:
- Support for project accounting in Reviso is terrible
- We depended on two internal web apps that we are dismissing so that I stop wasting my time on them
